2024 Sustainability Report

Making progress on sustainability

SEEK’s approach to sustainability is driven by a commitment to our purpose and to having a positive impact on people and the communities in which it operates.
Six key areas reflect SEEK’s approach to sustainability - human rights, social impact, data and cyber, people, environment and responsible business.
This year’s Sustainability Report demonstrates how SEEK holds itself accountable to this approach.
FY2024 key highlights:
  • Human rights: SEEK continues its commitment to preventing exploitative recruitment through its fair hiring program on SEEK’s employment platforms and to its modern slavery program across SEEK’s supply chain. Unification implemented technology improvements and expertise in fair hiring across APAC to improve fair hiring processes and systems.
  • Social impact: Positive social impact is at the heart of SEEK’s purpose and we maximise our social impact by getting better at our core business. SEEK published employment marketplace data and insights reporting, developed SEEK's First Nations Reconciliation Strategy and continued community investment programs, including SEEK Volunteer.
  • Data and cyber: When customers provide their information, they trust SEEK to protect their privacy and to use their data ethically. SEEK simplified its technology environment with Unification, commenced cybersecurity governance audit actions and continued responsible AI reviews.
  • People: Maintained gender balance in the APAC workforce and continued delivering programs focused on increasing female participation in technology roles and elevating and prioritising cultural and regional diversity.
  • Environment: Continued to implement an emissions reduction program and maintained carbon neutral certification across business operations for FY23 by Climate Active.
