SEEK announces new integration with Michael Page and Robert Walters

SEEK, Australia's number one employment marketplace, is today announcing new strategic longer term partnerships with leading global recruitment specialists Michael Page and Robert Walters, enabling recruiters to identify highly relevant talent and increase speed to market in a smarter way via its Integrated Premium Talent Search platform.

Initially launched in 2015, SEEK’s Integrated Premium Talent Search allows recruitment experts to be more efficient in how they identify relevant candidates. Driven by SEEK’s machine learning capabilities and AI technology, the integration allows recruiters at Michael Page and Robert Walters to conduct simultaneous candidate searches over the combined pools of qualified, skilled and professional candidates in seconds, producing the most up to date and relevant candidate matches. The integration has enabled a greater range of placements across their ANZ markets and sectors.

SEEK is constantly evolving Integrated Talent Search, both in terms of back-end improvements to the stability, performance and security of the platform and enhancing user experience and developing new features. As well as better search query performance and improved security and authentication processes, new features on the platform include:

  • Talent Pooling - providing hiring efficiency by allowing candidates to be grouped and managed specific to hiring needs
  • Recent Searches - enabling hirers to pick up from where they left off and re-run a search
  • Hide Names - enabling hirers to hide candidate names in search results, helping to make decisions based on experience and merit, reducing unconscious bias
  • User Interface Refresh - improved usability and simplification of user experience

Kendra Banks, Managing Director SEEK ANZ says: “We are thrilled to be working closely with both Robert Walters and Michael Page on this new integration. We are committed to the broader recruitment industry through the development of solutions like this, that make the recruitment process smarter and more efficient, delivering better outcomes for their businesses and their clients.

“This platform is built on over 20 years worth of candidate data and analytics and we are continually analysing the job search and hiring process to see where it might be improved. AI technology has been a keen focus for us at SEEK and our machine learning capabilities have grown significantly in the past few years. This has enabled us to make a range of improvements to the technology behind some of our core products to enhance the experience of hirers and job seekers alike.”

James Nicholson, Managing Director, Robert Walters Australia & New Zealand said: “Our strategic partnership with SEEK and investment in Integrated Premium Talent Search is part of our vision to continually deliver quality service to our employees, clients and candidates through innovative technologies. It’s created greater efficiencies for our employees which has been reflected in the quality service we have been delivering to our clients and candidates.”

Matthew Gribble, Regional Managing Director, PageGroup said: "Our new partnership with SEEK highlights the commitment we have to improving our recruitment processes through alliances with market leading service providers. Whilst the ITS platform has been beneficial in all aspects of candidate acquisition, we have found it particularly useful in sourcing temporary candidates, and with our major focus on temporary and interim solutions, this has been incredibly helpful."
